弗罗伦斯·南丁格尔 (1820 - 1910), 是社会改革家、统计学家、以及现代护理学的奠基人。 她通过提升卫生水平和生存条件，进而大幅度降低了受伤士兵的死亡率，开创了现代护理学的新纪元。 由于她的持续努力，护士的教育程度、职业形象、社会地位大为提高。她的生日后来被确立为国际护士节。 该雕塑由中山香商投资管理有限公司捐赠。

Florence Nightingale (1820 - 1910) was a social reformer, statistician, and the founder of modern nursing. She significantly reduced the mortality rate of wounded soldiers by improving sanitation and living conditions, ushering in a new era of modern nursing. Thanks to her persistent efforts, the education level, professional image, and social status of nurses greatly improved. Her birthday was later established as International Nurses Day.
